Imaging Services

OPEN MRI, CT, ULTRASOUND & X-RAY

Hilltop Imaging &  Diagnostic Center offers Open MRI, CT, Ultrasound, and Digital X-ray services for referring providers and patients. Radiology is a vital part of healthcare as it helps with the early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of injury and disease. Patient care is our top priority so we may support our providers and patients with the best possible healthcare outcomes.

imaging procedures

Open MRI

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a noninvasive study that produces highresolution images inside the body of organs, tissues and skeletal system.

Hitachi Aires II Open MRI technology provide clinical capabilities that rival the performance of many high field systems.

  • Exceptional Clinical Imaging
  • 0.3T Tesla Field Strength
  • 43 cm/17 Inch Open Bore
  • Patient Centric Design
  • Eases Claustrophobic Patients
  • No Radiation
  • Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA) Study
  • Flexion/Extension Spinal Studies
  • Simulated Weight Bearing Studies
  • Higher weight capacity*

MRI is able to help diagnose conditions such as (but not limited to):

  • Brain disorders
  • Traumatic injuries
  • Eye abnormalities
  • Spine diseases
  • Tumor detection
  • Liver and other abdominal diseases
  • Knee and shoulder injuries
  • Musculoskeletal disorders
  • Face/neck abnormalities
  • Infection
  • Cardiac Malformation
  • Blood flow and vessel disorders

*Not all body parts. Depending on girth.

Multi-Slice CT

Computed Tomography (CT) scan uses a rotating X-ray to create cross-sectional images of the body and can show bones, blood vessels, and soft tissue inside the body.

Supria Plus provides fast scanning coverage and thin slice capabilities, 20mm detector coverage and up to 16 slice imaging capability.

  • Advanced Dose Reduction
  • Enlarged 75cm Aperture
  • Excellent 16-slice image quality.
  • Advanced Metal Artifact Reduction
  • Improved Patient Comfort
  • Low-Dose Chest Exam
  • Pediatric and Adult Protocols
  • Uncompromising Image Quality
  • High weight capacity.

Using specialized equipment and expertise to create and interpret CT scans of the body, radiologists can more easily diagnose problems such as (but not limited to):

  • Cancers
  • Cardiovascular disease
  • Infectious disease
  • Trauma
  • Musculoskeletal disorders
  • Internal injury to organs and vessels
  • Identify spinal injury
  • Tumor detection/treatment
  • Measurement of bones

Ultrasound

Digital X-Ray

Digital X-Ray

Diagnostic Ultrasound (US) uses high-frequency sound waves to produce dynamic images (sonograms) of organs, tissues, or blood flow from inside the body. The Ultrasound Technologist will apply a water-based gel to the area of the body under examination, securing contact and eliminating air pockets between the transducer and the skin that can block the sound waves from passing into your body. The Ultrasound Technologist places the transducer on the body and moves it back and forth over the area to be studied until it captures the images requested by the physician. Studies include:

• 1st, 2nd & 3rd Trimester

• Stucture of internal organs

• Blood flow in vessels & ateries

Digital X-Ray

Digital X-Ray

Digital X-Ray

Our Digital X-Ray machine is a high-frequency device that reduces the exposure time for the patient. The images are produced in less than 60 seconds and received by our radiologist in 90 seconds. Digital X-Ray technology provides superior precision that allows the technologist to zoom, turn, and rotate the image for the precise diagnosis needed in the study.

X-ray is a noninvasive and painless method that is able to be used in multiple situations, such as (but not limited to):

  • Identifying broken bones and/or fractures
  • Identifying joint dislocation
  • Identifying abnormal growth or healing
  • Assist in bone cancer detection
